Our vision
To be the leading platform for trade, investment and lasting partnership between Iraq and the United Kingdom, making Iraq the regional gateway for British business and the United Kingdom the global gateway for Iraqi enterprise.

The Iraqi–British Business Council (IBBC) is a member-based organisation dedicated to advancing trade growth, investment opportunities and business expansion between Iraq and the United Kingdom. Formed in Iraq with the approval of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, and ratified by the Ministry of Commerce.
The Iraqi–British Business Council is a member-based council working to deepen trade, investment and economic cooperation between Iraq and the United Kingdom. As a business platform shared by both countries, it links the two economies: it brings companies together, helps them form partnerships and supports lasting growth across many sectors.
To be the leading platform for trade, investment and lasting partnership between Iraq and the United Kingdom, making Iraq the regional gateway for British business and the United Kingdom the global gateway for Iraqi enterprise.
To connect Iraqi and British businesses and give them the means to grow, by creating opportunities, building partnerships, opening markets, easing investment and offering support where it is needed.
The council's work aims at one result: more sales for its member companies, through stronger economic, commercial and investment ties between Iraq and the United Kingdom.
We help member companies reach new customers, sell more and widen their commercial presence in Iraq, the United Kingdom and further afield.
Company-to-company meetings, trade missions and investment roundtables that bring members face to face with likely partners, clients and investors, and help see deals through.
Market knowledge, contacts and support on the ground that help members enter new markets, get past obstacles and grow beyond their borders.
We carry the business community's voice to policymakers, government bodies and trade authorities, pressing for a better climate for business and investment.
Events, marketing platforms and shared forums that give members a wider presence, strengthen their brands and open new sources of revenue.
Business intelligence, training and specialist expertise that support members' lasting growth, innovation and competitiveness.
